The 2012 WGC-HSBC Champions is a golf tournament that will be contested from November 4–7, 2012 at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, China. It will be the second WGC-HSBC Champions tournament, and the fourth of four World Golf Championships events held in 2012.
The WGC-HSBC Champions gathers the strongest field of Golf Champions ever seen in Asia with seven of the world's top 10 and 20 of the world's top 30 golfers competing for the 'champion of champions' title.

Kaymer holed the shot for a birdie, from a deep bunker in front of the 7th green, and suddenly he ran off nine birdies over the last 12 holes to blow past Fredrik Jacobson and several others on his way to a 9-under-par 63 and a three-shot victory at Sheshan International.

Francesco Molinari held off Lee Westwood to complete a wire-to-wire victory at the 2010 HSBC Champions. With his one-shot victory, Francesco Molinari became the fourth European to win a World Golf Championship. Following a hole-out for an eagle-two at the 13th hole in round three to begin the final round at 14-under, he finished at 19-under-par, following a bogey-free, 5-under 67. He won in wire-to-wire fashion by one stroke over Lee Westwood.
